How’s margarine made?
See below for the simple step process.

Step 1: Farmers grow Canola and Sunflower seeds
Margarine spreads are made from over 70,000 natural seeds. Most seeds that go into spreads are Non GM and are sourced locally from Australian Seed growers. Step 2: Seeds are harvested
Each seed is harvested, separating the seeds from the flower plants.

Step 3: Seeds are crushed to extract the oils
Each seed is then crushed to extract the Canola or sunflower oils that go into making Margarine. These oils are considered the 'good oils' because of their nutritional content and health benefits. Step 4: Other ingredients are added
Milk, water, a small amount of palm oil & a pinch of salt are added to the plant seed oils. A small amount of additives are added to keep the Margarine fresh and a even smaller amount of colours and flavour are added to enrich the great Margarine taste.

Step 5: A great Margarine Spread
The mixture is then cooled to make a smooth spreadable Margarine Spread – perfect for cooking, baking or spreading on your favourite sandwich
